Founder Biography: Peiming Guo
Peiming Guo was born in 1960 in Shanggao Town, Taian City, Shandong Province, into an ordinary family. He was the most mischievous among his four siblings. As a child, he was smart, lively, and full of curiosity about the world. Although he often caused trouble for his parents with his playful nature, this energy and sense of exploration laid the foundation for his future success.
In his youth, Peiming Guo chose a military career and became a soldier. In the army, he not only learned discipline, perseverance, and self-management but also gained a deep understanding of responsibility and commitment. After retiring, he carried with him the spirit of a soldier and the courage to venture into new fields, beginning a new career journey.
In 1986, Peiming Guo was introduced to the grinding ball industry, which he quickly became passionate about. He realized that this industry had immense potential and technical depth, and he believed he had the ability to shape the future of the entire industry. After two years of preparation, in 1988, he established a grinding ball factory. In 1994, it was officially registered as Taishan Wear-Resistant Alloy Material Factory. In 2014, to support global business growth, the company was upgraded to Shandong Gangyan Grinding Ball Co., Ltd.
In the early days of the business, Peiming Guo faced tremendous challenges: limited funding, fierce market competition, and insufficient technical expertise. However, with unwavering determination, courage, and a deep love for the industry, he led the company step by step toward success. Through continuous technological innovation and quality improvement, Shandong Gangyan Grinding Ball Co., Ltd. gradually grew into a global leader in the production of grinding balls, and Peiming Guo became a standout figure in the industry through his wisdom and hard work.
